Graduate School Commencement

More than 780 graduate students at the University Park campus graduated this spring and to celebrate the achievement of their academic goals, the Graduate School and the Graduate School Alumni Society hosted its annual Spring Commencement Reception on Sunday, May 17, in the lobby of the Kern Graduate Building. Graduating graduate students from all degree programs were invited to attend the event. Photos from the reception and the Commencement Ceremony are available online.

List of Graduate Exhibition winners available online

Forty-one graduate students were recognized and received awards for their presentations in the 24th Annual Graduate Exhibition, held March 27 and 29, on the Penn State University Park campus. Penn State to participate in the CGS Project for Scholarly Integrity

The Council of Graduate Schools (CGS), with funding from the U.S. Office of Research Integrity, has given awards to seven universities to develop models for integrating research and scholarly integrity into the graduate school experience. Amid heightened concerns about academic research misconduct, the CGS Project for Scholarly Integrity seeks to better inform students, researchers, and faculty about the ethical responsibilities and complexities of research in the 21st century.

Penn State, in partnership with Michigan State University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is among the universities that received an award. [read more]
