National Postdoc Association
Founded in 2003, the National Postdoctoral Association is a professional association that serves the postdoctoral community. It addresses several concerns that postdoctoral fellows experience and provides information on how to find postdoctoral positions, fellowships and job opportunities, and also topics relevant to International postdoctoral fellows. Individual Development Plan
All postdoctoral fellows are encouraged to draft an Individual Development Plan (IDP). Here is an example for an IDP.
NPA Postdoctoral Core Competencies
NPA has provided postdoctoral fellows and institutions appointing them with guidelines about the various skills they need to acquire during their training. More information can be obtained at NPA Postdoctoral Core Competencies.
