University Park -- Graduate Exhibition to Open March 18
The 20th Annual Graduate Exhibition will open on Friday, March 18, with
music and theatrical Performances by Penn State’s graduate students
in Esber Recital Hall, Music Building I, from 7 to 10 p.m.
A total of 272 graduate students, a record number, will present their research and artistic accomplishments in this year’s Exhibition and will compete for cash awards in the categories of arts and humanities, engineering, health and life sciences, performance, physical sciences, social and behavioral sciences, and visual arts. More than 100 volunteers, comprised of Penn State alumni and members of the University and local communities, will participate as judges.
On Sunday, March 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., students will discuss their research and works of art during the Poster Presentations in the Alumni and Heritage Halls at the HUB-Robeson Center and the Visual Arts Exhibition in the HUB Gallery. An Awards Ceremony at 4:30 p.m. in the HUB Auditorium will conclude the program.
